π About the Role
Weβre looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager (Android Architecture) to lead the design, development, and evolution of a cutting-edge Android platform powering next-generation connected systems π±βοΈ
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where youβll shape architecture, guide global engineering teams, and influence the future of scalable Android-based platforms built on AOSP.
π§ What youβll be doing
β¨ Lead the architecture of Android-based platform services and SDKs
ποΈ Define scalable, modular, and future-proof system design patterns
π± Drive development across Kotlin, Java, C/C++ and Python
π Collaborate with global engineering, product, UX, and hardware teams
β‘ Guide CI/CD, automation, and engineering best practices
π Ensure security, privacy, and performance standards are met
π¨βπ» Stay hands-on with code, reviews, and technical problem solving
π Lead a distributed engineering team and grow technical talent
π§ What weβre looking for
β 10+ years in software engineering/architecture roles
β Strong Android / AOSP / Android SDK experience
β Proven experience leading engineering teams
β Embedded systems / IoT / connected device exposure (nice to have)
β Strong system design and architectural thinking
β Ability to operate in complex, global environments
β Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
