🚀 About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager (Android Architecture) to lead the design, development, and evolution of a cutting-edge Android platform powering next-generation connected systems 📱⚙️
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you’ll shape architecture, guide global engineering teams, and influence the future of scalable Android-based platforms built on AOSP.
🧠 What you’ll be doing
✨ Lead the architecture of Android-based platform services and SDKs
🏗️ Define scalable, modular, and future-proof system design patterns
📱 Drive development across Kotlin, Java, C/C++ and Python
🌍 Collaborate with global engineering, product, UX, and hardware teams
⚡ Guide CI/CD, automation, and engineering best practices
🔐 Ensure security, privacy, and performance standards are met
👨💻 Stay hands-on with code, reviews, and technical problem solving
📊 Lead a distributed engineering team and grow technical talent
🔧 What we’re looking for
✔ 10+ years in software engineering/architecture roles
✔ Strong Android / AOSP / Android SDK experience
✔ Proven experience leading engineering teams
✔ Embedded systems / IoT / connected device exposure (nice to have)
✔ Strong system design and architectural thinking
✔ Ability to operate in complex, global environments
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
