They are seeking an experienced and people-focused Director of Sales, OEM to lead a high-impact sales organisation across North America.

  • Lead OEM sales strategy across North America

  • Coach and develop a high-performing sales team

  • Drive revenue growth across strategic accounts

  • Build executive-level customer relationships

  • Improve sales discipline, forecasting, and account planning

  • Lead commercial strategy across multiple business verticals

  • Identify new markets and expansion opportunities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term growth initiatives

You’ll lead a team of 17 people (including yourself) with 4 direct reports.

The business spans multiple sectors, including:

🚀 Marine OEM (freshwater & saltwater)
πŸ”‹ Power systems/battery solutions
🚐 Recreational vehicles
🏭 Industrial and speciality vehicle applications

This role requires a strong leader who can coach managers, build capability, and drive execution.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

You may be a strong fit if you have:

βœ” 8+ years in senior sales leadership
βœ” Experience in OEM / B2B / enterprise sales
βœ” Strong people leadership and coaching capability
βœ” Experience managing complex strategic accounts
βœ” Strong commercial and analytical thinking

Industry background could include:

  • Marine

  • Automotive OEM

  • Industrial equipment

  • Technical manufacturing

Marine industry experience is helpful but not required.

We are especially interested in candidates from adjacent OEM industries.

✈ Travel

  • Up to 50–60% travel

  • Primarily across the US and Canada

  • Higher initially while building team rhythm and customer relationships
