About the Role

The Technical Lead will drive web development projects, oversee site migrations, and implement best practices in SEO, performance optimization, and responsive design. This role involves mentoring mid-level developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical direction and execution of web development projects.

  • Manage complex site migrations, including temporary proxy-hosted environments.

  • Ensure best practices in SEO, performance optimization, and responsive design.

  • Guide mid-level developers in React, Next.js, CSS (styled components), and CMS integrations.

  • Act as a bridge between development, design, and product teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience working with Headless CMS platforms.

  • Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, and CSS/styled-components.

  • Proven expertise in managing site migrations and hosting via temporary proxies.

  • Full-stack capabilities, including front-end and back-end integrations.

  • Deep understanding of SEO strategies and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Remote Work Expectations

Work Hours: You'll work remotely and will need to be available during key business hours in the Australian AEST time zone, with flexibility for certain project deadlines required.

Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with the team via tools like Slack, Zoom, and email. Attendance at key virtual meetings will be required.

Self-management: Must be comfortable managing multiple tasks independently and maintaining clear communication with the agency's clients and project stakeholders.
